Save the date on March 18, 2015 to see HAZE, a powerful documentary, at the Weston Public Library at 7 pm.
Afterwards, join Michelle Albright, PhD, Director of Weston Youth Services. Michelle will facilitate a discussion after the film.
This program is a must see for ALL parents and their children who are Juniors and Seniors.
What’s it about: In September, 2004, pledge Gordie Bailey died from alcohol poisoning after passing out on a couch in his fraternity house following a hazing initiation. HAZE, which has been shown in hundreds of high schools, tells Gordies story and connects the dots between college drinking and hazing.
This film has been purchased by ADAP from money raised from its spring fundraiser, “Rides for Lives,” which was sponsored by ADAP, Safe Rides and WHS Student Government.
ADAP, Weston Youth Services, WHS PTO, and the Weston Public Library are co-sponsoring the event.
